The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) in Numbers...


The diagram above shows the total numbers of Commonwealth Scholarships awarded to all commonwealth member countries in 2014-2015. In total there were about 1641 scholarships have been awarded in both years, which 909 of them awarded in 2015. There were about 110 scholars have been offered for PhD and 155 scholars for Master's.

The diagram also shows the distribution of the scholarships according to the regions. The Sub-Saharan African region received the highest numbers of scholarships which about 595 and followed by South Asia region with 251. The other regions such as Australasia, Europe, Pacific, South East Asia and Caribbean received only 6.5% of the total scholarships.


Commonwealth Countries from South East Asia are Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei Darussalam.
